Sukhadia Circle, Udaipur - Timings, History, Best Time to Visit

At a distance of 5 km from Udaipur Railway Station, Sukhadia Circle is a recreational spot located in the Panchwati area of Udaipur. Situated on Ranakpur - Mount Abu Road, it is one of the most visited tourist places in Udaipur.

Sukhadia Circle is a roundabout featuring a small pond with a stunning three-tiered water fountain at its center. This fountain, rising to a height of 21 feet, is crafted from white marble and designed in the shape of a wheat-ear motif, symbolizing prosperity. It was constructed in honor of Mohan Lal Sukhadia, a former Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The foundation stone for the fountain was laid in 1968, and it was inaugurated for public enjoyment in 1970.

Visitors can enjoy a tranquil boat ride on the calm waters, providing a delightful escape from daily stresses. Paddle boats are particularly popular among guests. Additionally, one should not miss the opportunity to embark on an exhilarating camel or horse ride around the circle.
