At a distance of 14 km from Rameswaram Railway Station, Kunthukal Beach is a secluded beach located in a small fishing village named Kunthukal. It is one of the offbeat places to visit as part of Rameswaram couple packages.

Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Pamban Island in Rameswaram, Kunthukal Beach serves as a charming tourist destination where visitors can enjoy a peaceful retreat while spending quality time with family and friends away from the chaos of urban life. The beach features crystal-clear blue waters with gentle tides, making it an ideal location for relaxation and a safe place for individuals of all ages, including children.

A prominent attraction at the beach is the Vivekananda Memorial Hall, located nearby. This memorial was established to honor Swami Vivekananda's return to India on January 26, 1897, following his participation in the 'Parliament of World Religions' in Chicago. Prior to the construction of the memorial in 2010, a pillar existed at the site to commemorate the incident. The memorial includes a six-foot statue of Swami Vivekananda alongside Ramanathapuram King Baskara Sethupathi, who supported his journey to Chicago. Additionally, it features a spiritual library and a meditation hall.

Visitors can engage in various activities at the beach such as playing games with children, swimming, or leisurely walking along the shoreline, allowing the gentle waves to caress their feet. Whether one seeks relaxation, adventure, or a romantic getaway, Kunthukal Beach stands out as one of the few locations in Rameswaram that offers an unforgettable experience to be cherished for years to come.
