The valley surrounding the Sunset Point resembles a bow, which is why it was previously known as Dhanukamal.

From the main entrance gate, it's quite a trek to reach the expansive park on the plateau. Here, you'll find three small dome structures and a lovely lobby designed for admiring the sunset's beauty from the plateau's peak, offering breathtaking views of nature. A haven for nature enthusiasts, this spot is renowned for its mesmerizing sunset vistas. As the sun sets, you can catch a glimpse of the Mahalaxmi Mountain near Dahanu, located around 60 km from Jawhar. Additionally, the Gramadaivat temple is another notable attraction in the vicinity.
