At a distance of 24 km from Cherrapunji and 30 km from Shillong, Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint is a wonderful vantage point located on Shillong - Cherrapunji road in Meghalaya. Also known as Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge Viewpoint, it is one of the prominent places to visit in Cherrapunji.

A viewpoint for the Mawkdok Dympep Valley is the Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge, which provides a splendid panoramic view of the Valley. Built by the Forest Department, one has to walk down a number of steps to reach the viewpoint. This pristine valley is completely untouched by commercialization so the valley gives a surreal experience of nature to its visitors.

One can take photographs here by wearing the traditional Khasi Dresses. One must try the Zip-lining activity at the viewpoint, which provides an awesome experience like none other. There is also a cafe opposite to the viewpoint where visitor can have lunch or Maggi. Also, there are few shops around where one can get pretty good stuff like wooden show pieces, sweaters, shawls, caps, etc.
