At a distance of 15 km from Madikeri, Abbikolli Falls is a stunning waterfall in Coorg. It is also one of the must-include places in Coorg tour packages.

Located on the Madikeri - Mangaluru Highway, Abbi Kolli, also known as Devarakolli Waterfalls, creates a dreamlike landscape overflowing with rustic appeal amidst the tranquil surroundings. It cascades down from a height of around 70 feet between pointed rocks, and ultimately run like a stream to join the Payaswini River across the road.

It is the most sought-after place and an unofficial rest stop for all those who travel along NH 275. The waterfall presents a surreal scenery rich with natural beauty and tranquility. The view from the waterfall is amazing and the tea you get here is splendid. Visitors could also have a delightful time with family and friends by sipping a hot cup of tea at the nearby tea stalls.

During summer, the waterfall is dead and no one even notices it. However, in the monsoon season, the sound of the gushing water is heard from a distance and commuters stop over for a refreshing sprinkle of cold water that flows from the hill on their tired faces. It is safe to admire the splendid waterfall from a distance as it not advisable to enter into its intense cascades.
