At a distance of 31 km from Dandeli and 16 km from Ulavi, Syntheri Rock is monolithic granite structure with a height of 300 feet, which is located in the dense forests of Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. It is one of the top Dandeli tourist places to visit.
Syntheri Rock is a huge, massive limestone rock formed due to volcanic eruptions some million years ago. It is named after an English lady called Ms. Cinthera who is believed to have discovered this place in 20th century. River Kaneri passes along the side of this rock. Owing to the flow of the river from the vicinity, erosion has resulted in the rocks getting hollowed. The corners of this rock cave are inhabited by numerous pigeons and honeybees.
Entry to the venue is controlled by forest department. The site can be reached either by jeep or by walk through the dense forest from the entrance. At the entrance visitors need to pay nominal entry fee and vehicles can go up to the parking area from where visitors need to climb down .....

Jeep safari is an exciting activity for the tourists and an opportunity to sight the extensive and exclusive wildlife in Dandeli sanctuary. Jungle Safari is a thrilling activity, which travel through the dense Dandeli forest and is one of the top things to do in Dandeli.
Dandeli jungle safaris are arranged in open-top jeeps to experience the lush green vegetation, rivers, the wild animals and birds. Jeep Safaris are conducted by the wildlife reserve authorities with professional wildlife guides. The jeep has seating arrangements for 8 persons per trip. The duration of safari is about 1 hour and timings are during early morning and afternoon. Safari covers about 10 km drive through forest and visitors have high chances to spot variety of wildlife.

White water rafting is an arduous and challenging adventure. The rafting is done in the rubber boats which starts from Ganeshgudi and ends up in Moulangi, Dandeli, covering a stretch starting from 4 km to 9 km with the duration of 2 hr to 4 hours. This raft can accommodate 7 to 8 people. Tourists will be trained before undertaking the rafting ride. Visitors are provided with a life jacket and helmet. Trained guides accompany the tourists who also give them basic lessons on rafting.

At a distance of 1 km from Ganeshgudi Bus Stand and 23 km from Dandeli, Supa Dam, built across River Kali, is situated in Joida taluk of Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. This is one of the largest dams in the Karnataka and also one of the well-known Dandeli places to visit. This dam is built to manage the water of Kalinadi River to provide irrigation facility to the surrounding area.
The construction of the dam started in 1974 and ended in 1987. The dam was built by Hindustan Steel Works Construction Limited (HSCL) and is now operated by Karnataka Power Corporation Limited. The power house was commissioned in 1985. The name of the dam is derived from Suparulu (God of forests).
The height of the dam is 101 m from foundation level and the length is 332 m. It has a catchment area of 1057 sq. km and 145 TMC live storage capacity. Three radial gates of size 15 x 10 m are provided to regulate the flood discharge. The reservoir has two saddle dams of length 705 m and 940 m. The .....
