At a distance of 8 km from Pachmarhi, and Madhai, Panarpani is the newly opened core zone of Satpura National Park. This zone is primarily visited through the entrance gate located close to Pachmarhi hill station.

Panaarpani zone covers the central area of the Satpura tiger reserve. Its entrance gate is also close to Pachmarhi hill station between Matkuli and Pachmarhi. This zone is popular for medicinal, water bodies, and dense forests. A large number of tourists and wildlife lovers are still not aware of this latest step, taken by the Forest Department of Madhya Pradesh. At a distance of 2 km from Pachmarhi Bus Station, Bison Lodge Museum is a museum located in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh. Situated in the heart of the town, it is one of the oldest museums in Madhya Pradesh, and among the top tourist places in Pachmarhi.

Bison Lodge once used to be the resident of British man Captain Forsyth, who came across Pachmarhi in 1857 while leading his troop to Jhansi and settled down here. Pachmarhi Boat Club is a small lake where tourists can enjoy boating for a couple of hours. One can choose speed boating, pedal boating, zip-lining, ATV ride, etc here. Surrounded by verdant forests and hills, Handi Khoh is a V-shaped ravine that is 300-feet deep and is constituted by two massive hills in the middle of a dense forest. It is believed that once it was a huge lake but the devilish snake who was guarding the lake was destroyed by the fury of Lord Shiva and the event dried up the lake and it took the shape of a handi(pot).
