At a distance of 12 km from Diveagar, 10 km from Shrivardhan, 35 km from Murud - Janjira Fort and 114 km from Alibaug, Kondivali Beach is a pristine beach on the Konkan Coast near Shrivardhan in Maharashtra.
Kondivli Beach is the main attraction of Shrivardhan. The beach is frequented by water-sport lovers as it offers paragliding and water surfing to the visitors. The Shrivardhan cliffs, situated close to the Kondivali Beach, are popular for trekking. The brownish black sand of the beach with the lush forest makes it a delight to the visitors.
It is one of the few secluded beaches on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra. The sands are unmarked by footprints, and the road winds around low-lying cliffs from where tourists have to climb down to reach the waters. The currents are a bit unpredictable, but locals claim it's safe for swimming. One can also visit an old and small Shankar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati near the beach.
