At a distance of 17 Kms from Gaganachukki & 2 Kms from Barachukki, Panchakki Falls is a group of several wonderful waterfalls formed by a stream of Kaveri River.

After driving about 2 Kms from Barachukki Falls, one has to trek down for 10 minutes to reach a big pool into which the waterfalls are merged. Towards right side of the pool, there is a small fall dropping from a height of about 30 feet into the pool and it is a great place to play in the waters.

There is another wonderful waterfall on the other side of the pool, which can be reached by Coracle (Rs. 20 per person one way). This waterfall is another great place to enjoy the stream and the play in the waters. The water here flows through a rocky platform and merged into the pool (be careful with slippery rocks).

There is another nice waterfall at top of the stream which can be reached by trekking from the second waterfall through steap rocks. It is little difficult to trek these falls and very dangerous in monsoons.
