ONE DAY TRIP IN KOVALAM | BEST OF KOVALAM

At a distance of 1 Km from Kovalam Bus Stand, Samudra Beach is the main beach of Kovalam near Kuma Masjid.Renowned for its spectacular sun kissed beaches, Kovalam is one of the famous Kerala tourist places.

This beach offers spectacular sunset views, like all other beach of Kovalam. This is a safe and good place to swim. The hillocks near the Juma Masjid are full of coconut trees offering cool breeze to the visitors.

Compared to Light House Beach and Eve's Beach, this beach is less crowded and has less business activity. The See View Leela Cottages are located on a hillock on southern end of the beach. There are several resorts with private beaches to the north of this main beach.

At a distance of 0.5 Kms from Kovalam Bus Stand, Eve's Beach, adjacent to Light House Beach is a charming white sand beach. It is one of the best beaches in Kovalam, among the popular tourist places in Kerala.

This beach is located between Kovalam Main Beach and Light House Beach. It was the first topless beach in India. Top free bathing is banned now except in private owned resorts. The sunset in its entire splendor can be viewed from this beach.

At a distance of 1.5 Kms from Kovalam Bus Stand, the Light House Beach is the largest of the three beaches of Kovalam. It is one of the top beaches in Kerala and among the most romantic places to visit on your Honeymoon in Kerala.

A 30 meter high light house is situated at the southern end of the beach, upon which the beach is named. Adjacent to Eve's Beach, this beach can be reached by foot from Eve's Beach.

Tourists are not allowed inside the Light House. Tourists can climb the hillock on which the light house is located, for a spectacular view of the Sunset. There are several resorts of all ranges located close to the beach for accommodation. The light house hillock is full of coconut trees.

This is the most active of all the beaches in Kovalam. Water sports like swimming, para cycling, para gliding are available at this beach.
