Kodige Falls - History, Timings & Entry Fee

At a distance of 38 km from Mudigere, and 68 km from Chikmagalur, Kodige Falls is a mesmerizing waterfall situated near Durgadahalli village in the Malenadu region of Karnataka. It is one of the stunning waterfalls in Karnataka, and among the most scenic places to visit near Chikmagalur.

Also known as Durgadahalli Falls, Kodige Waterfall is a 30 feet waterfall formed over the Netravathi River. The waterfall is located in a private estate surrounded by dense forest. The water is shallow which allows visitors to swim and play in the water. This is a perfect retreat from the busy city life during your Chikmagalur Trip. Do take extreme care in any water body as it might slip and with kids do take extra care.

Visitors need to walk about 10 minutes from the parking area. The trek path is an easily accessible place for kids and elders. However, it is better to park the vehicles at Durgadahalli village during the monsoon season as the road is muddy and is not suitable for cars. One can also reach the top of the falls. There are also restrooms and changing room facilities for visitors. Post monsoon is the best season to visit the waterfall when it is in full flow.
