At a distance of 17 km from Chikballapur, and 78 km from Bangalore, Vivekananda Falls is a beautiful waterfall situated at Kethanahalli village in Chikballpur district of Karnataka. Also known as Kethanahalli Falls, it is one of the stunning waterfalls in Chikballapur, and among the prominent places to visit near Bangalore.

Vivekananda Falls is a seasonal waterfall situated amid the greenery. The 2 tiered waterfall drops down from a height of 90 feet amidst five hills namely, Brahmagiri, Divyagiri, Nandagiri, Skandagiri, and Vishnugiri. It cascades down the rocks makes a deafening roar during the monsoon season. The sound of water breaks the silence of an otherwise quiet forest and can be heard from afar. During the monsoon season, the waterfall is surrounded by a lovely mist that enhances the beauty of the falls.

To reach Vivekananda falls, one needs to head towards Kethenahalli, and the fall is about 1 km away from the village. Visitors need to cover the distance by walk as the road is not suitable for vehicles. Once you get there, the excitement and joy will be tenfold by looking at the scenic beauty of the place.
